1. Intellectual Property & Copyright
All content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the "NetVenture" name, curriculum quest designs, gamification logic, graphics, and code — are the exclusive property of Justin John-Baptiste and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
- Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the platform for educational purposes only.
- Reproduction, distribution, or reverse-engineering of the application logic is strictly prohibited.
2. Pilot Phase (Beta) Disclaimer
NetVenture is currently in a "Pilot Phase." While we strive for excellence, the service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
- We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- During this pilot, features may be added, modified, or removed based on user feedback and security audits.
3. Acceptable Use
Students and staff are expected to use the platform responsibly.
- Users must not attempt to bypass security measures (including Admin PINs) or access data belonging to other users.
- The "Reflection" boxes must not be used to post offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content.
- NetVenture reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
4. Data Protection & Privacy
Our use of personal data is governed by the NetVenture Privacy Policy. In the context of a school pilot, the School remains the Data Controller, and NetVenture acts as the Data Processor.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, NetVenture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform during this pilot period.
6. Safeguarding Responsibility
NetVenture provides tools to facilitate safeguarding (such as the "Report a Concern" form), but the ultimate responsibility for child protection and follow-up actions remains with the Participating School's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
